Saturday, we celebrated Sawyer's 2nd birthday -- actually it was an all weekend celebration! Sawyer woke up Saturday morning with a cold, but was all smiles and ready to blow out some candles. We started our morning out with pancakes, opened his birthday gifts, and then had cupcakes on Sunday. He celebrated his birthday with his friends at school on Friday with some cupcakes. Here are a few pictures from our weekend. We can't believe Sawyer is already 2!! Sawyer continues to be a VERY active boy who loves to run, jump and throw! He talks A LOT and now speaks in 5-7 word sentences. He is very inquisitive and wants to know how EVERYTHING works! He still loves to read and will now even read to himself. He likes playing with all his trucks, motorcycles, trains, and cars. He thrives on his daily routine and especially loves bath time and brushing his teeth every night. He has started singing us songs he has learned at daycare and sometimes puts his toys in time out for "running" or "having bad listening ears" (wonder where he has heard that!). He is getting closer and closer to being fully potty trained with every passing day. He is a big helper and likes to help us whenever he gets the chance. Our lives have been abundantly blessed by the addition of Sawyer to our family.
Happy 2nd Birthday Sawyer!

Time to open presents.
Yeah! Little People Airport! Sawyer LOVES his Little People and has lots of them.
More candles to blow out! He really liked having "Happy Birthday" sang to him.
