We usually buy our pumpkins from the local pumpkin patch, but it was closed this year. So, Mommy bought a pumpkin from the store! Sawyer was very excited to help Daddy with carving the pumpkin. This is the first year he has really been excited about the process. He helped Daddy clean the pumpkin out and worked on carving the lid to the pumpkin while Daddy was carving the face. He was so excited when we put a candle inside and turned out the lights to see it glow. We had a great time watching him have fun! We are looking forward to Halloween in a few days.

Sutton was being mischievous! He loves to pull all the kleenex out of the box when we are not looking. Oh the joys of being one!
Sawyer said "ooh gross!" when Sam pulled the top of the pumpkin off.
But he quickly dove into help get the "pumpkin brains" (as Daddy called it) out. He had a great time getting really messy.
