Yesterday, I left work early to take Sutton to the doctor. He wasn't running a fever, but just hadn't been his usual self. We decided to take him in for a "Twenty-five dollar piece of mind visit!" Sure enough, he had a double ear infection and the doctor said his "ears looked awful!" We left with a prescription for an antibiotic and drops to decrease the pain in his ears when he lays down to sleep. He is still a little fussy and clingy today, so I decided to stay home. Actually, we all stayed home today, as there was a huge snow storm, which brought us a foot of snow by mid-afternoon. Sawyer begged us to go outside all day, even when it looked like a blizzard outside! After Sam cleared the driveway with the snow blower, I took Sawyer outside for awhile. He had a hard time walking, since the snow was so deep, but he wanted to stay outside for a long time. In fact, once I finally convinced him to come in he told me "you can go in mom, just let me know when supper is ready!" I made him come in when I did, as he had been outside long enough!
All smiles this morning.
This afternoon, he was tired.
He has a double ear infection, has 4 teeth trying to come in, and also has a runny nose and some coughing every once in awhile. Poor kid!
Sawyer thought staying home was great fun!
Sawyer all bundled up outside, and of course we had to bring some trucks outside with us!
Boy I want to go outside! Sutton watched us intently.
See how much snow we had -- Sawyer had a hard time walking.
