Today, my old car left our driveway. I have had this 1998 Acura since 2001!! It had 28,000 miles on it when I bought it and it left our driveway with 195,000 miles and still going strong! It was my first big purchase after college, and Sam had to co-sign for it as I had only been working for 2 months. At that time, Sam and I were only dating!! Boy a lot has happened in the past 11.5 years!!! It has been a fantastic car, and it went to another good home today. I have to say I was a little sad to watch it leave, but it has been replaced with a newer car with even more luxury and greater safety features.
The car seats are much easier to install in our new car, and the boys seem to love it. Sawyer especially loves to yell commands out as we are driving, like I am his personal chauffer!! We took our first road trip to St. Louis in the new car a few weekends ago. In May, we will be taking a much longer road trip to see cousin Dalton graduate.
