Tonight, Santa made a visit to our local elementary school. Daddy had the boys dressed and ready to go in their handsome plaid shirts when I arrived home from work. We only had to wait in line about ten minutes to see Santa. Sutton talked to the elf, but started crying when we asked him to stand by Santa. Sawyer was very intent on talking to Santa, but told Santa he "hadn't decided just yet about what he wanted for Christmas." Santa told him to make him a list and he would see what he could do. Sawyer is going to have Ernie (our elf) take his list to Santa! Sutton was VERY excited about the candy canes they were handing out and couldn't wait to have one of those. He quickly quit crying after we stopped to open his candy cane. The boys are so excited about Christmas!
Mmmm ..... candy canes!
This picture cracks me up! Sam captured it while they were waiting for me to arrive home!
Their "pout-pout faces!"
Sutton and puppy -- puppy makes everything better!
Sawyer and Ernie our elf (he is up high in the tree)
Sutton kept walking around with his hands in his pockets!
So cute ....
AND a little bit ornery!
Talking to the elf.
I think he was trying to figure out how to get a candy cane without talking to Santa!
Sawyer was EXCITED to see Santa!
This is the only Santa Sutton was interested in standing beside! He tried to open his candy cane by himself, but quickly found out he needed help.
Yeah! Candy!
This is the best part!
What a fun night! We picked up a pizza on our way home and had a "movie night" complete with a picnic in the living room floor. So much fun making family memories!
