I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Sawyer & Sutton made some special projects at school and Sam gave me a very thoughtful note. I also got an art print from the Brookside Art Fair for my kitchen! The best part was getting to spend the day with the family. Sawyer gave me a card that said "I love you because.... you are always with me!" I feel very blessed to have two wonderful boys, when there was a time I didn't think we would ever have kids. Being a mom is definitely the most rewarding thing I have ever done and the most exhausting! Hearing "I love you, mommy!" and getting unlimited hugs and kisses is fantastic. I thank God everyday for our children.
After Dad made breakfast, we took the boys on an adventure to a new park with lots of lakes. The boys had a wonderful time exploring. There is nothing like watching your children explore nature. What a wonderful Sunday! Thank you boys for giving me another wonderful Mother's Day!
Card from Sawyer, butterfly pot from Sutton & plant from Sawyer, with my art print in the back!
Sawyer ready to explore!
Sutton started off the morning a little crabby -- here he is trying to tell me he has a booger!
Giving him a little de-boogering :)
Sutton loved all the dandelions!
Of course, Sutton needed some snacks 15 minutes into our adventure!
Collins Cuties!
Sutton had to find a BIG stick! So funny that he would NOT put his snack down!
So cute!
A boy can never have too many sticks!
Sawyer was going to "sneak up on this robin!"
He was able to get pretty close...
Red neck play pen -- the back of Daddy's truck! He was having fun hanging out and watching brother.
Sawyer is really learning to ride his bike well! In fact, he took two additional bike rides to the nature trail and back in our neighborhood after we arrived home and while Sutton was napping.
