Saturday morning, the family (Grandma & Papa Collins, Aunt Sheila, Uncle Steve and us) took a small road trip to Alley Spring State Park. What a beautiful place! The boys enjoyed the short hiking trails and exploring the old flour mill. We had a delicious picnic lunch and spent more time exploring. What a beautiful, fun day! Here is a photo recap of our time there.
Our (not so little anymore) cuties!
Love this -- it's like he is saying "really .... you need more pictures?"

Sawyer had fun with all the old tools in the mill.
Love to watch them explore -- Sutton was picking up leaves after we had our picnic.
So ornery -- he was chasing me!
Daddy took a few sneaky pictures!
Collins Family -- the sun was in our eyes in this pic
The boys were only marginally cooperative in this one!

Sawyer was super proud of his "junior ranger badge"

Attempting to get a good picture with the boys ... but by this time, they were done with pictures!
They did have fun swimming in the river nearby. They wanted to touch the water at the spring very badly, but there were only a few spots where you could get close enough. They thought it was fun to swim in their underwear! We didn't have swim trunks --- so we improvised!
Sutton had to hold Mommy's hand -- or he would have fallen. The rocks were a little tough on the feet!
Sawyer thought for sure he could catch a fish! He did catch a tadpole and we also saw a few crawfish.
Exhausted on the ride home! What a fun day of exploring!
