Today, all the first graders in Sawyer's school went to the Kansas City Zoo. What a fun day! Mommy was able to take the day off to assist with being a parent chaperon. They divide the kids into small groups, with parents and they are free to roam about the zoo! We were responsible for keeping track of the kids in our group, their lunches and all their stuff! Thank goodness there were only 3 kids in our group and two parents! Sawyer had a great time with Chloe and Kalynn, the two other kids in our group. After the school part was over, Sawyer wanted to go back into the zoo some more! It was a beautiful day, and Mommy was glad to have the day off to share it with him.
