On the Fourth of July, our usual neighborhood bike parade was cancelled due to rain. We also did not get to go to the pool this year. We did have our usual dinner with our neighbors, but did not get to set off many fireworks because it was raining. They even cancelled the fireworks display in our town. The boys did get to shoot of their fireworks on Friday, as they extended the city ordinance to allow people to shoot them off for a few hours then.

Celebrating Grandma Pam's birthday! She stayed with the boys for a few days after July 4 so we didn't have to pay for a week of camp, as they only needed to attend 2 days.
Fireworks time on Friday! This year, we gave each boy ten dollars to buy fireworks. They agonized over what to buy and probably made at least ten trips around the fireworks tent!
Grandma treated us to ice cream while she was here.
Sutton LOVES to help me vacuum! I hope this continues as he gets older! I need all the help I can get around here!
