Sawyer had the opportunity to submit another film to the Reel Spirit Film Fest this year. His PHYRE teacher Mrs. Humphrey had them do a clay animation film. Sawyer chose to do his by himself and made "The Milkshake Catastrophe." It was a film about 2 characters and one of them does not want to share his milkshake and drinks the entire thing himself and ends up with a stomach ache. Sawyer enjoyed hearing the audience chuckle at his film. We arrived early so he could walk the red carpet! It was a fantastic day and he came home with a second place trophy in the animation category! We were very proud of him! He even did a great job of thanking his teacher in front of everyone.
Waiting to walk the red carpet!
He was getting tired of all my pictures!
Being interviewed on the red carpet!
Waiting for the theater to open.
In front of the entire theater to receive his award!
Sitting in the front with the other film makers!
Of course, we had to go out for lunch to celebrate! Sawyer brought his trophy into McCoy's with him!
