This weekend we made a stop at their favorite park! I was a beautiful day!
This week, daddy had to travel to Atlanta for work. He was just gone one night, but on that night, after the boys had been in bed about an hour, we had a tornado warning. I went to the basement to get the bathroom ready, and then our tornado sirens started sounding. It took me over 5 minutes to get the boys up and downstairs. We spent about 45 minutes downstairs (from 9:30 to 10:15)!!! We were safe, just rain and some wind. Thankfully, no damage at our house! We were all exhausted the next morning though!
The boys have a surprise right outside their bedroom window. A female cardinal has a nest and 3 eggs. They are LOVING keeping an eye on her. We will only let them watch her from inside the house. Sawyer told us he knew it was there, because he tried to pet the bird, but she scared him because she flew away fast when he got close!
