Baby Number 2 ....

Today we had our "big ultrasound" where they look at the baby's organs and skeleton to make sure everything is developing normally.  Everything on the ultrasound looked normal, but they want us to return in 3 weeks, as they didn't get to look at all the features of the heart as well as the doctor wanted.  The baby was being a little uncooperative.  We know the baby has a 4 chamber heart and all the vessels are in the right place.  The doctor wanted to take a closer look at the valves and the wall of the heart to look for any defects, due to my "advanced maternal age!!!"  Nothing like being called OLD by the doctor :)  The baby was moving around and kept putting its right arm up over its head.  The baby is now about 6 inches long and weighs 9 ounces.  Amazing!!!  Here are a few pictures of the ultrasound.  The baby still has 22 weeks to grow and develop, but it is off to a great start!  I am starting to feel the baby move everyday and can't wait until the baby is a little bigger so Sam & Sawyer can feel the baby moving!  We have decided to let the baby's sex be a surprise to us and everyone else.  Stay tuned until October for the results!

Hand right beside its face.

Cute little baby foot!

Frontal view of the face.  You can see its eyes in this pic.
