Busy, Fun Weekend!

On Friday night, Alex & Rebecca came to visit us.  Sawyer loved having a buddy to play with and of course loved staying up later than his usual bedtime!  Saturday, Grandma Pam came in to town to watch Sawyer, as mommy & daddy went to see Jason Aldean in concert at the State Fair.  Sawyer always loves being spoiled by Grandma!  Today, we went shopping for new shoes and ate lunch out.  Sawyer even got to eat a cookie from a bakery we walked by and he was very intent on going inside!  We had a busy, fun weekend.  Sawyer was exhausted and ready for bed tonight.   Unfortunately, tomorrow it is back to work and school!  Thanks for checking in on Sawyer!  We hope you all had a great weekend too!
Sawyer & Alex

Sawyer & Alex playing on Rebecca's lap.

Playing outside on Saturday morning -- notice Sawyer was too busy to look at mommy!

Playing on the neighbor's swing set.

Sawyer & MadaLynn -- Sawyer has on his new bike helmet (given to him from Landon, as he has out grown it!)  Sawyer LOVED the helmet & wore it most of the day.

Daddy, Mommy & Baby #2 off the to State Fair!

Sunday morning -- helmet is back on! (Yes it is on backwards -- we finally got him to wear it correctly by Sunday afternoon!  Sawyer is VERY stubborn and likes to do things his way!)

Reading with Grandma Pam before naptime -- yes those are tears in Sawyer's eyes as he did not want to take a nap!  When it comes time to eat lunch, he now tells us he wants to eat "breakfast again" as he doesn't have to take a nap after breakfast!  He knows his routine well!

After nap time --- playing on his trike (which he can now pedal) and wearing his new shoes!  His new shoes must be comfy, as he wanted them back on as soon as he woke up.  We knew it was time for new shoes, as he would only wear his old tennis shoes briefly before taking them off.

Look -- his feet reach the pedals!  (He is getting so big and independent!)
Waving "hi!" to mommy!
