Tuesday night, Sutton was fussier than usual and he was also mildly congested. Sawyer kept getting out of bed every 15 minutes with a different need or complaint. Sawyer did complain of his "eye hurting" which looked fine to us, but he has had increased drainage from his nose and a little from his eyes -- which we attributed to allergies. Wednesday morning, Sawyer still complained of eye pain and had more drainage from his right eye. Sutton also had slight drainage from his right eye. Sam & I decided the boys needed to be evaluated by a doctor. After a trip to the doctor & pharmacy, both boys are now feeling much better and are receiving eye drops for the next 7 days -- 3 times a day! Sutton now weighs 10 pounds, 5 ounces and Sawyer weighs 33 pounds! They are both growing!
Everyone slept much better last night and Sawyer says he is "all better" now and is back at daycare today! It was a whirlwind of a day, as our morning was occupied with the doctor's visit, we all took a nap yesterday afternoon, then more playtime in the afternoon. It was a bit hectic having both boys home, but Sawyer is a big helper! Last night, mommy & Sutton went to my monthly book club. Sutton had a great time being snuggled by everyone & they surprised me with a shower and lots of cute outfits, diapers, and other cute baby stuff. We are such a blessed family with incredible friends. Thanks everyone!
