Sawyer has been looking forward to Halloween ever since we purchased his costume! He certainly has the hang of saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" this year! He had a Halloween Party this afternoon at school. After we arrived home, he played outside for awhile then put on his costume, ate a quick dinner and went trick or treating! We only went to about 10 houses in our neighborhood, but everyone gave Sawyer either a special treat bag or generous amounts of candy. His bag was so heavy he couldn't carry it by the time we arrived home. Of course, he had to eat some candy when we arrived home. We had a great Halloween! Thanks for checking in on our family.
Playing outside when we arrived home. (As you can see, the Collins Family did not find any time to carve our pumpkin, but Sawyer hasn't even asked -- so it was not an activity which was missed!! Maybe next year!)
Showing off his cute Halloween shirt they made at school. Those big orange things are his foot prints!
At the Halloween party, then showed us some of the things they do everyday at school. Here they all are saying "The Pledge of Allegiance." They also sang us a Halloween song and showed us how they say their prayers before they eat.
Singing the Halloween song.
Snack time!
Candy -- what Sawyer had been waiting for! I love how intent he was on opening it "all by himself!" He is quite independent these days.

Trick or Treat time!
Showing us his muscles! We left our candy bowl out on our porch, along with a "Happy Halloween" picture Sawyer had colored at school.
Spiderman "shooting his webs" with some instruction from Daddy!
On his way to the neighbor's house!
So where was Sutton??? -- In the stroller fast asleep!
