Today, we took Sutton to the doctor for his 2 week check-up. (Yes, he is only 10 days old, but our pediatrician is only in the Lee's Summit office on Thursdays). It was also Sutton's first outing. Daddy took the day off work to come with us, as our appointment was at 11:20am. We started off with a trip to Target for diapers, wipes, and a birthday gift for a friend of Sawyer's. Sawyer has his first friend birthday party to go to this weekend and he is very excited! We then went to the doctor's office. Sutton now weights 8 pounds 2 ounces and is 19 inches long. They wanted him back to his birth weight (8lbs 1oz) by 2 weeks, and he didn't disappoint! Sawyer received his flu shot, which was a nasal mist, not a shot. He received a Spiderman sticker, which was the highlight of his doctor's visit! We all then went out for lunch and then home for a nap. We had a fun day out, and mommy was glad to be out of the house for awhile.
