As I mentioned in a earlier post, we have a new bed for Sawyer. It is a bunk bed on top and a futon/full size bed on the bottom. We intend for Sawyer to sleep on the futon part until he is a little bigger and able to safely climb up/down the ladder. For now, he loves to climb up on the top bunk when we are in his room with him, but he isn't allowed to do it by himself. Sawyer has slept in his new full bed for all naps and night times since his first nap there. He loves being able to stretch out and the mattress is much softer than the mattress in his toddler bed. More space also means more room for more "buddies" (aka stuffed animals). Over the weekend, he got his toolbox out and helped Daddy convert his toddler bed back to a crib for Sutton. He was great at screwing the bolts back in place, and Daddy made sure they were adequately tightened. Sawyer is such a big helper and likes to help us whenever he can. Over the weekend, Mommy & Daddy took Sawyer to our local library to check out some new books and spend some time with just him. Sawyer also decorated his window for Halloween. He is such a big boy! He really seems big now that we also have a newborn in the house.
Helping daddy -- safety glasses and all!
Showing off his window he decorated for Halloween (with a little help!)
This is the bolt he completely screwed in all by himself!
Very intent about helping Daddy!
