We are all happy to have Daddy back at home after his week long work trip. We were in need of some family time! Saturday, we went out for breakfast at one of our favorite places, and ran a quick errand. Then, it was home for some fun in the snow! Sawyer has been begging to go outside and play in the snow, but it has been too cold and it is almost dark by the time we get home from work. Today, he finally got his wish. He LOVED playing with his new snow board. Sutton was not as thrilled with the snow. He took one short ride with Daddy, then wanted to be held the rest of the time. I think the snow gear and boots were too bulky for him. Daddy and Sawyer went to the nature trail to sled off the big hill in our neighborhood. After Sawyer woke up from nap, he asked to go outside for more!

Saturday night, we had a "movie night" at our house. Sawyer had been playing dress up! He looks a little silly here!
Sawyer received a "disgusting science kit" for Christmas from us. He is VERY EXCITED by the stuff growing in his petri dishes. This is a sample from a swab he took from the bottom of his shoe. It is turning out to be very educational. He immediately takes his shoes off at the door now! He also has 3 more dishes growing -- one of a cough, one of snot from his nose, and one of "toe jam!"
