Today Sawyer had his kindergarten graduation party in his class. Mrs. Wenger had a slide show with pictures from their school year to show everyone. They also received a bucket full of goodies and the book "The Night Before First Grade." There were also LOTS of treats!

Sawyer received this one, as she said he was always doing "extra big math" on all their work sheets.

Sawyer took me by the art room to show me his castle hanging on the wall.
He brought this home last week. He thought it was hilarious because he told us "I didn't know how to write my name correctly or write my letters on the lines. I have no word spacing, and I couldn't spell!"
He has really developed a love of reading and writing this year.
This was his reading score from the standardized test they took.
We were very proud!
