Sawyer is playing soccer again this fall. I didn't bring the camera to our first game, as they wore their jerseys from last season to the first game. Sawyer did score 3 goals in his first game of the season. I think we were more excited than he was about scoring goals! We played a team from Independence for our second game, and lost. They had several really good players, Sawyer told us "I think that one kid was 12 or something!" (He was much bigger and had much better soccer skills -- makes you wonder!) Sawyer's team is fun to watch and they keep playing better and better. What a great Sunday afternoon!
Sutton now wears a pair of Sawyer's old soccer cleats to the games! He wants to be just like his brother. He will be old enough to play soccer in the spring!
