First Camping Trip

This weekend, we met Grandma & Grandpa Collins and The Mohrmann Family for a camping trip.  We had a FANTASTIC time, even though it did rain most of the weekend.  Thank goodness Grandma & Grandpa have a camper trailer and we were dry and warm throughout the weekend!  Friday evening was beautiful and the kids were able to play at the playground.   We had a great meal cooked over an open fire by daddy, celebrated Ben's 2nd birthday with cupcakes and had s'mores by the camp fire.  Saturday morning, we woke up to rain and it pretty much rained all day until dinner time.  We decided to go out to eat on Saturday night, but were able to start a fire and hang out by the camp fire for awhile later in the evening, and of course we had to have more s'mores!  Sawyer enjoyed his first camping trip and we enjoyed spending time with everyone!  Thanks for the great weekend!

Saturday rainy day activities inside the camper.  Thank goodness Grandma brought some coloring books and colors for the kids.  They really came in handy on Saturday.
