This past weekend, Grandma Pam and Aunt Lisa were in town. On Saturday, they entertained Sawyer while mommy and daddy did some projects around the house. The girls had some "pamper time" on Saturday afternoon, with a pedicure. Sunday morning, daddy made breakfast for everyone and Sawyer had a beautiful necklace and ring to give to mommy. He also made the cutest picture that had his handprint, a picture of him and a poem on it (with lots of help from his teachers!). Sawyer and mommy were able to go for a leisurely walk on Sunday afternoon to enjoy the fresh, cool air. It was a fantastic Mother's Day! I love being Sawyer's mom! Everyday he gives me so many things to be thankful for, helps me appreciate the small things in life, keeps me on my toes, and loves us conditionally.
