Outside Fun

This weekend, we had no plans and were looking forward to hanging out at home.  Sawyer spent most of his day outside today.  He gets so excited when you say "outside" and he knows he has to have sunscreen on and his hat on too before heading outside.  He is VERY PALE -- just like mommy and daddy, so we are a little over jealous with the sunscreen application and hat wearing at our house.  This morning, he played with his trike, wagon, sidewalk chalk and shovel/bucket.  This afternoon, we all were in the shade on a blanket coloring and reading books.  He was EXHAUSTED tonight.  We had a great, relaxing day around our house.  

He can now maneuver his trike using his legs, but his feet don't quite reach the pedals.

Action shot -- getting on the trike.  He usually gets on/off the trike A LOT!!  I think he is just so excited he can do it all by himself.

Sidewalk chalk art.  He is really good at making lines in the various colors and can name the colors accurately -- most of the time.

He likes to sit in his wagon, but does not want you to pull him.  A few weeks ago he did not want to sit in the wagon, so we are getting closer to going for a ride in the wagon.
