Twenty-Five Dollar Poo

Sutton has been battling constipation all week long.  In fact, I called the pediatrician's office on Tuesday for advice.  After following all their suggestions, the poor kid had only been having very small stools, which were much different than his usual poos and he was much fussier than usual.  I called the pediatrician again on Friday morning for additional guidance.  They wanted to see him and we were more than happy to bring him in.  Sam had the day off for his own doctor's appointment, so I met them at the pediatrician's office.  Of course, while we were waiting for the doctor he had a blow-out!  I guess we just needed to have a "25 dollar piece of mind visit" to get his bowels working again!!  Sam & I just laughed -- oh the fun & cost of parenting!  It was nice to speak to the doctor and get all of our questions answered.  Sutton is ready to eat, but his body isn't quite ready to handle all the new foods.  He is back to breast milk only for the next week, then we can reintroduce rice cereal for week, then move on to veggies & fruits only introducing one new food every 3-5 days.  He is feeling much better and his poos are almost back to normal again!

Sleepy Sutton

Sutton & Daddy -- almost asleep!

Bonus picture of Sawyer -- notice his outfit -- shorts & snow boots (on the wrong feet)!  He was having fun on Friday night.  We had a "picnic" in our living room with take-out Mexican & rented the movie "Cars 2."  He was very excited!
