Spoiled Rotten!!!

This weekend, we took Sawyer on an "adventure" but he didn't know where we were going.  After eating breakfast out, we headed to Toys R Us to buy a power wheels car.  He was SO EXCITED!!!  He drove it around the yard, around the house, and up/down the driveway.  We have been impressed about the power this little "dune racer" has, and how well it is handing the terrain around our house and the inclines.  It has 2 speeds, slow & fast and also goes in reverse.  Sawyer drove it this morning until the battery was wearing out.  Both boys are taking a nap now, and then I am sure we will be watching Sawyer drive some more this afternoon!  I had Sutton in the Baby Bjorn and he was giggling watching Sawyer drive all around.  Eventually, Sutton will be able to ride around with Sawyer.  Sawyer is doing great driving around the flower beds, trees and other obstacles in our yard.

Never say never -- Sam & I didn't ever think we would actually buy one of these for our kids -- but we did!  It sure seems worth every penny watching all the fun Sawyer has had in the first few hours of owning this toy.  Sawyer is definitely spoiled rotten!!!
Sawyer and his new Dune Racer!

So much fun!

He was super excited when he saw it for the first time.  When we bought it yesterday, it was in a box and they didn't have a demo model out for us to see.  We knew which one we were going to buy after doing some online research.

Sawyer's "race car face!"

This is the view we saw most of the morning -- him driving away from us, as we were walking along.

Doing a good job of not running over the flowers.

He even went "off roading" across the drainage ditch along the side of the house!

Having fun in the backyard!

He even got some mud on the tires driving around in the backyard!

Once the battery died, we let Sutton sit in the car for a few minutes (with supervision).  He thought the steering wheel was really neat!

Hanging on for dear life -- just preparing for future rides with Sawyer!

Helping Daddy clean the mud off his tires!

Earlier this morning, while we were waiting for the rain to clear off -- Sawyer & Daddy wer making "big towers."  Sawyer was especially proud of this one that was taller than him.
