Trip to Texas

We traveled to College Station, Texas during Memorial Day weekend.  We left at ~4:00am on Saturday and arrived at Aunt Sheila, Uncle Steve & Cousin Dalton's house around 3:30pm.  Cousin Dalton will graduate later this week, and we are going to enjoy a week of vacation.  The boys traveled well, considering we had a 10 hour car drive.  Our car was completely packed with clothes, snacks, and toys for the trip!  Sutton took several naps, and we kept Sawyer entertained with surprises and "travel tickets" to help him pass the time.  We also stopped frequently for everyone to stretch.  We were all very excited to arrive at their house!  After giving lots of hugs, we headed to the park across the street from their house and the boys also went swimming in their pool.  They were completely spoiled the entire time we were there!  This is the first of several blog updates on our trip to Texas.  These are pictures I took during our first 3 days there.

One of Sawyer's rewards -- Iron Man.  Sam had fixed 20 "travel tickets" which Sawyer gave to me every 30 minutes throughout the trip to help pass the time.  He also had 5 reward tickets he could give me at any time during the trip.  He used 4 reward tickets during the first half of the trip!  The boys slept for the first 3 hours of the trip, since we left at 4:00am!

Sutton slept very well every night!  Between the park, pool, and entertaining everyone, he was exhausted! 

Sawyer really liked Luna, their big dog.  Both boys loved their dogs.  Sutton said "puppy" at least a thousand times while we were there!
