On our last full day in Galveston, we decided to visit a few of the local attractions. After a delicious breakfast at one of the local restaurants (Mosquito Cafe), we went to the Lone Star Flight Museum. Sutton took a nap the entire time we were there, but Sawyer really liked seeing all the different planes. We even gave him $5.00 to spend on anything he wanted in the gift shop. He looked at LOTS of merchandise before settling on an army plane to purchase. It was really cute watching him carefully inspect everything, since he was buying it with "his money!" Next, we visited Moody Gardens, but only went through their special dinosaur exhibit, as it was nearing lunch time. Sawyer LOVED it. The dinosaurs made noises, and also had moving arms, bodies and eyes. After lunch out, we all took a nap back at the hotel! Then, it was on to the hotel pool and the out for dinner and another great local restaurant where the service and food were phenomenal (Bistro Lecroy)! We had breakfast in Galveston on Thursday morning, then it was back to College Station, Texas for cousin Dalton's graduation festivities.
Sawyer was really excited!
Mommy, Sawyer & snoozing Sutton. Thank goodness we had the stroller. He is quite a load to carry around anymore -- especially when he is sleeping!
Picture time with Daddy.
Sawyer was pointing the entire way through the museum.
Sutton enjoyed his nap while we were there!
This was Sawyer's favorite air craft. He really liked "all the guns" on it and the "big chopper blades!"
Having fun in Moody Gardens -- giving me the "cheesy smile!"
Sawyer had his "T-Rex arms" out!
Posing like a T-Rex in front of the real T-Rex!
So excited about seeing the T-Rex!
Being silly!
Mommy's nap time was interrupted by two (actually 3 ornery boys!)
