On August 21, we were able to see a total solar eclipse and were in the path of totality. Sawyer's school to a field trip to the city park in nearby Odessa. Sutton's class watched from inside, unless we wanted to sign a release to allow him to view it. We chose to let him watch safely from inside. It was a fun day for everyone! Mommy watched it at work and Daddy was working from home.

Sawyer's friend Ethan let him borrow an animal trap he had made. Sawyer was so excited to wake up and find he had something in his trap. He was ready to shoot it! Daddy told him his pellet gun was not going to take care of the animal. When they went to check it out, they found out what he caught .... see below!!
