We decided to take a road trip and wanted to go no further than 8 hours. Our final destination was Isle, Minnesota; but we only drove halfway the first day. Our first stop was in Des Moines, Iowa for lunch. We ate at a restaurant in downtown called Zombie Burgers, walked around the Pappajohn Sculpture Park and then headed to Mason City, Iowa to spend the night. Once in Mason City we found a brewery in downtown as well as a festival with all kinds of activities.
