We woke up in Mason City, Iowa and checked out their local nature center on our way out of town. We did a quick one mile hike and then hopped in the car to head to Minnesota. We stopped for lunch at a yummy bar and grill called Malone's in Maple Grove, Minnesota. We then headed to our final destination .... Appeldoorn's Resort in Isle, Minnesota. We checked into our cabin and spent our evening watching the boys swim. The sunset was beautiful!

There were tons of lake flies buzzing above us.
They were really loud, but did NOT bite ... unlike the mosquitos!
