Monday -- several Sutton updates

Today I spent my day off taking the kids to various doctor appointments.  Sawyer had an appointment with the dentist in the morning.  I wish I would have had the camera.  He looked so big in the dentist chair.  He did great while they polished and flossed his teeth.  He picked out a pink princess toothbrush (even though there were Cars tooth brushes) and a small plastic lizard to bring home.  I think he liked the pink, since he doesn't have anything pink!  Later that afternoon, I took Sutton in for an unexpected "peace of mind" doctor visit.  He had a red rash on his back, arms and face.  We thought it was probably eczema, but several of the spots were perfect circles.  Sure enough, the doctor thought it was eczema.  We changed the bath wash we use on him and have been lathering him in Aquaphor.  His skin looks much better.  Thank goodness Grandma Pam was here and I only took one kid at a time with me to our appointments!  The weather was awesome and we were even able to spend some time outdoors in the afternoon.

Now for the Sutton updates!  This afternoon, Sutton rolled from his belly to his back for the first time, but he only did it once!  Since we visited the pediatrician earlier, I had several other questions about Sutton.  The doctor said we could start feeding Sutton some rice cereal since he has good head control and is starting to show an interest in food.  He took a few bites of the cereal and seemed to like it .... but... it didn't help him sleep better at night.  He actually slept worse and was up 4 times on Monday night!  There goes the "cereal theory" everyone has been telling us to try cereal because he will sleep longer -- it didn't work for our little guy.   He woke up about an hour and a half after we put him down.  He usually sleeps about 3-4 hours after we put him to sleep at night.
Here are a few snapshots of Sutton.

Tummy time

Sunset from our living room.
Sawyer likes to see the sunset every night.  I thought this one was beautiful.

Cereal time

Such a happy boy!
