Sawyer -- 3 year check-up

Sawyer had his 3 year check-up today.  He is a healthy, flexible three year old!  Our pediatrician was impressed with his vocabulary and social skills.  Sawyer just started right in answering his questions and talking to him, and followed all his instructions during his exam.  Sawyer now weighs 33 pounds, 2 ounces (70th percentile) and is 38.5 inches tall (75th percentile).  He was very excited to get a Sponge Bob sticker after his visit.  We have no idea how he knows who Sponge Bob is, as it is not a cartoon we watch at our house.  He didn't have to have any shots this visit.  Unfortunately, he still can't have peanut butter since he continues to get a rash around his mouth and down his neck.  Luckily, the rash goes away once we give him Benadryl and he has not had any respiratory problems.    We chose not to do any formal testing at this time and hope he will eventually outgrow the allergy.    I practically had to beg Sawyer to sit still to allow me to get a few pictures of him this evening.

Sawyer -- our big 3 year old!

Showing off his sticker
and getting tired of mommy's picture taking!

Flash forward to his teenage years -- I think this is a look we will see often.  He was "texting his friends" with my broken cell phone and did not have time to smile!

And a few Sutton pics from tonight.  I had him in the Baby Bjorn while I was doing a few things around the house.  He loves being in it as much as Sawyer did.  In fact, he was giggling as I was moving around.  Since I was moving, all of the big smile pictures were blurry.  He sure was having a good time!
