We had a great weekend. The boys treated me to breakfast out on Saturday morning, and took me shopping to find some new perfume and new plants for the kitchen window. The boys did great during all of our shopping. We spent all day outside on Saturday. Sunday morning, Sam made breakfast and we went for a walk on the nature trail in our neighborhood. Sawyer had made me a plaster hand print and colored me a few pictures at school. Sutton's teachers gave me a potted flower from him. We again spent most of the day outside on Sunday since the weather was perfect. I had a great Mother's Day with the boys! Being a mom is the best job ever!!! These two active boys bring lots of joy to our lives. I took snap shots throughout the weekend of the boys, but didn't realize I wasn't in any of the pictures until late on Sunday afternoon. We should have taken some pictures on Saturday when we were all cleaned up to go out and about, but we didn't. Here are a few pictures Sam took of us hanging out having fun in the backyard on Sunday. What a fantastic Mother's Day. Thank you Sawyer & Sutton (with some major help from Daddy!).
Trying to get a picture with mommy, but while we were trying to get the boys to laugh, mommy's head was cut off!
This is Sawyer's cheesy laugh & Sutton was starting to get hungry!
Playing catch with Daddy!
Sutton in on of his favorite spots -- The Baby Bjorn on mommy!!
Ewww.... what is this green stuff????
Happy boy!
Hugs --- they love each other so much!
We bought Sawyer some markers while we were out shopping. Unfortunately, they were really cool stamp markers, but were NOT washable! He had the ink part out of the marker, coloring away at his art table. This is what his hands looked like after scrubbing them A LOT!!! Even 2 days later they are still a little blue. We will definitely read the package more carefully next time! We were just glad it didn't get on the carpet, furniture, or walls!
Sawyer was exhausted on Sunday morning. He slept until ~7:30am!
But Sutton was wide awake at 6:00am and ready to play!
Sutton fell asleep on the way home from our walk.
Playing in the sandbox!
Feeling around on his gums. He still hasn't had any teeth come to the surface.
My mother's day gifts from the boys.
Sutton's teachers gave me the flower, and Sawyer made me a hand print. What a great day!
