On Tuesday, we decided to take Sutton to the doctor. He has a cold, is teething, and had been waking up in the middle of the night for the past several days. Initially, we figured his teeth were bothering him, since he would go back to sleep after receiving ibuprofen. Monday night we noticed he was pulling on his right ear. We decided if he woke up in the middle of the night on Monday, we were going for a "25 dollar piece of mind visit." (That's what we call a trip to the doctor, since we have a $25 co-pay!) This entire time he has never had a fever or we would have went to see the doctor sooner. Sure enough, Sutton has a double ear infection! He and Mommy enjoyed their snuggly day at home. He wanted to be held lots, but did also get in some play time. It's now Thursday, and he is feeling much better and sleeping through the night again.
He was pulling up on Mommy's legs. Today at school, he pulled himself to a complete standing position, hanging onto an exersaucer. He is going to be cruising in no time!
