Yesterday, Sawyer seemed fine when he woke up, watched a few shows, got ready for school, etc. However, he started becoming really whiny as we were leaving. I dropped the kids off, headed to work, thinking he would get better once out of my sight. I had only been at work less than an hour when I received a page that Sawyer was not feeling well and had drainage coming from his ear. I left work, and came home to get him. He has tubes in his ears, so I gave him some ear drops. He stayed on the couch most of the day, curled up in a blanket. After he woke up from nap, I noticed some bloody looking drainage coming from his ear and called the doctor. We went to see the doctor and found out Sawyer has an ear infection! He now has an antibiotic to take in addition to ear drops. By the evening he was feeling much better and back to his usual self!

Bribery to get Sawyer to take his medicine -- nothing like a few Skittles!
