We decided to shoot a few fireworks on Tuesday night after we put Sutton to bed, because he goes to bed at 7:00pm! Sawyer was not a fan of the noise from fireworks and decided he needed to wear his "ear protection" that he normally wears when riding on the lawn mower with Daddy. He was only really excited about the poppers and the smoke bombs. Otherwise, he was sitting on Mommy's lap while Daddy was lighting the other fireworks. On Fourth of July morning, our neighborhood has a parade and donuts in the park near our house. We took Sawyer's dune racer for him to drive in the parade. He had a great time with his friends in the neighborhood. Then, we went out for lunch to celebrate Mommy's birthday. We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at home as a family. We had a great 4th of July!
Sawyer wearing his ear protection!
Watching Daddy & drinking his Gatorade!
Oh ... poppers!
Sutton early in the morning. He is such a happy baby!
Sawyer & his friend Parker. Sawyer started trying to drive his dune racer up a gravel pile within 5 minutes of being at the park! He is such a boy!
Taking Parker's sister Reagan for a ride.
This is what Sutton did during the parade -- sleep on Mommy!
This is the gravel pile he tried to drive up, and had LOTS of fun playing on. You can see him if you look really closely. He is in the middle of the pictue. He was covered in dust when we arrived home, and had to have a bath.
Having so much fun!
Out to lunch to celebrate Mommy's Birthday.
Can you tell Sawyer didn't want to have his picture taken!
You can see Sutton's feet in the background, he slept through lunch too!
