Back to work

Mommy returned to work on Monday (December 5).  I can't believe my maternity leave went by so fast, again!  Sutton is still at home for another month (thanks to his grandmas).  We kept Sawyer home for an additional month, and wanted to do the same for Sutton.  Babies just seem more durable when they reach 3 months old!  Sutton will begin daycare on January 3rd.  Grandma Collins is caring for Sutton for the next 2 weeks.  Daddy had a work trip this week, and was in Florida from Monday to Thursday.  Thank goodness grandma was here to help us!  We are all slowly adjusting to our new routines.  I am thankful Sawyer has a predictable routine and enjoys going to school everyday!  It makes getting him ready and the drop off at daycare a little easier.  Mommy is very tired, since she is back to work and Sutton is still waking her up 3 times every night to eat!  We are managing though, as we know Sutton will eventually get bigger and be able to sleep for longer periods of time at night.
Here are few snap shots from both our camera & grandma's camera this week.

Sawyer & his new cape Grandma Collins made him.  To say he loves this cape is an understatement!  It has 2 sides.  One is red, and the other is blue.  He is so excited to "have a cape like Super Why!"  When he wears it on the blue side, he is "Super Why" and when it is on the red side, he is "Wonder Red." (Both are characters from his favorite show on PBS)  He flies around the house and usually has this cape on most of the time he is awake!  He also usually asks for it as soon as we arrive home in the evenings!

Trying on his cape for the first time -- can you see the excitement in his eyes!

Modeling his cape for us.

Getting ready to take-off!

The back says "Superhero Sawyer!"

I am a happy boy!

Boy I'm sleepy!

Talking to his "buddies" as we call them!  He gets really excited sometimes.
