Wow! We can't believe another month has flown by. Sutton is now 2 months old! Now, he is more alert and enjoys looking at toys on his overhead play gym. He also likes looking at pictures we have up and down the hallway. He especially likes the pictures of people! He is a happy baby who gives us some of the best smiles, and he is even starting to jabber at us a little bit. The sillier we are with him, the bigger the grin we can get from him! He is a big eater and continues to like to eat every 2-3 hours. He sleeps for about 4 hours one time each day, from about 9pm to about 1am, otherwise, he is up every 2-3 hours. So, yes, mommy is still getting up 3 times every night to feed this big eater! He has a really big pouty lip we see every now and then. He also has a temper we see come out when he is ready to eat and we don't move as fast as he would like! The good thing is he calms down quickly after he receives his milk! He takes 1-2 naps per day,for about 45 minutes, in his crib. When he naps other times, he sleeps in his bouncy seat or with someone holding him (which is his favorite way to nap!). We hope eventually he will sleep longer at night so he can be in his crib permanently. He is starting to settle into a slightly more predictable schedule for us. Sawyer continues to give him lots of hugs and kisses everyday. Sutton has started liking bath time, so we are able to give the boys a bath at the same time now. He is no longer really fussy at night, which makes evenings at our house more enjoyable, as we can usually comfort him within 15 minutes or so. He does like to fight sleep in the evenings! It has been a busy 2 months at our house, but what a great addition Sutton has been to our family! Below are pictures of Sutton taken on December 4, 2011.
